Tor Browser (Alpha)
✦Introduction✦
The Tor Browser is the official mobile browser developed by the Tor Project, designed to provide users with an enhanced level of privacy and freedom while browsing the internet.
As a free and open-source tool, it serves as the gateway to the Tor network, which allows for anonymous communication and browsing.
-------✦ App Features ✦-------
• Block Trackers:
Tor Browser isolates websites, preventing third-party trackers and advertisements from following your online activity. Cookies are automatically cleared when browsing is completed.
• Defend Against Surveillance:
It obscures your browsing activity from anyone monitoring your connection. This means that the only visible information to observers is that you are using Tor, not the specific sites you visit.
vResist Fingerprinting:
Tor Browser helps make all users appear the same, making it incredibly difficult for malicious entities to create a unique fingerprint from your browser and device information.
• Multi-Layered Encryption:
When using Tor Browser, your internet traffic is relayed and encrypted three times as it travels through the Tor network. This network consists of thousands of volunteer-run servers, also known as Tor relays, which add multiple layers of security.
• Browse Freely:
Gain access to websites that may be blocked by your local Internet Service Provider (ISP), allowing for unhindered exploration of the internet.
• Open Source and Nonprofit:
Developed by the Tor Project, a nonprofit organization, the browser remains free and open source. Support from donations helps maintain and enhance the development of the project.
-------✦ Q & A ✦-------
Q1: How does Tor Browser protect my privacy?
A1: Tor Browser protects your privacy by isolating your browsing activity, blocking trackers, preventing surveillance, making fingerprinting difficult, and encrypting your internet traffic. It routes your web requests through multiple volunteer-operated servers to obscure your location and usage.
Q2: Can I access regular websites with Tor Browser?
A2: Yes, you can browse regular websites using Tor Browser. Additionally, you can access .onion sites that are only available through the Tor network, which can offer further anonymity.
Q3: Does using Tor Browser make my internet connection slow?
A3: Using Tor Browser may slow down your internet connection due to the multiple layers of encryption and the way traffic is routed through several servers. The speed can vary based on the number of users and the performance of the Tor network at any given time.

Pretty good app. I have it set as default because it stops me from accidentally clicking shady links while I'm scrolling because you can set it to have to click the 'connect' button before anything loads at all which gives you a chance to back out before anything loads at all! Definitely serves its purpose as a browser too!

An exceptionally easy to use browser. I enjoy the autoconnect feature, it makes getting access much fast. I do however suggest more preset bridges as a couple of them are slow to connect to.
